Ole Miss begged fans not to storm the court in the final seconds of the Rebels' 78-76 win over Tennessee on Wednesday. It didn’t work. It appeared security had the situation handled, initially, as a few students made their way to the court to celebrate the Rebels' win over the No. 4 team in the country. Then, the flood gates opened.

On Wednesday, a big upset took place in the SEC. The Ole Miss Rebels stunned No. 4 Tennessee, 78-76, in Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss forward Jaemyn Brakefield hit the game-winning layup with less than 10 seconds remaining, and Tennessee's Igor Milicic Jr. missed the potential game-tying layup right before the final buzzer.

Ole Miss basketball took on No. 4 Tennessee on Wednesday in the home finale for the the Rebels and would go on to stun the Volunteers 78-76. It was a back-and-forth game all 40 minutes, with Tennessee's largest lead being just nine points.
