According to Alice Police Chief Eden Garcia, at 1:07 a.m. Tuesday, Howard Harris called 9-1-1 to report he had shot his mother in her home on the 100 block of Escobar Street.

Alice police found Angelica with a single gunshot wound to the head in her bedroom, said Alice Police Chief Eden Garcia. Police had received reports of a shooting at about 2:30 a.m. that morning.
