Hundreds of striking students are marching through the Serbian countryside, taking their anti-graft protest toward the northern city of Novi Sad, where they plan to blockade three bridges over the River Danube this weekend.

Despite two high-profile political resignations, students plan to walk from Belgrade to Novi Sad and block all three bridges over the Danube River on Saturday. They are calling for justice and accountability.

The protests began after an attack on drama students on January 24 by pro-government thugs during a daily 15-minute commemoration for victims of a deadly overhang collapse in November that killed 15 people.

The students involved in the blockade have released details of their planned walk from Belgrade to Novi Sad, scheduled for the 30th and 31st of January. According to their statement, the initial gathering will take place on Thursday,
