Adopted and then approved 7-2 by the state Senate's Licensing and Occupations Committee, Senate Bill 202 would ban the sale of hemp-derived beverages, those that contain CBD and/or THC, until the middle of 2026 while the state finds ways to study, understand and regulate products in the same way it does with beer and liquor.
