New York Mets superstar Juan Soto, who has the most expensive contract in the MLB history, won't be on the All-Star field representing the National League.

Soto went hitless Sunday and was in the on-deck circle when Francisco Lindor struck out against Devin Williams to end the game. Soto acknowledged it was a goal of his to continue his streak of playing in the Midsummer Classic.

The Mets have three All-Stars — and one notable omission. Pete Alonso was named a National League reserve and Edwin Diaz made the pitching staff, but Juan Soto was left off of the roster in a surprise snub.
