The U.S. and Iran had been set for a fifth round of nuclear talks when Israeli launched strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites a day after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) board passed a resolution declaring Iran in violation of its nuclear obligations.

Foreign ministers from the Group of Seven nations said on Monday they supported the ceasefire between Israel and Iran and urged for negotiations to resume for a deal to address Iran's nuclear program,

President Trump previously said diplomatic talks could resume as early as this week, but Iran's foreign minister said he didn't think they would "restart as quickly as that."
